    ReAD ThiS!! Everyone is installing backwards! The installation instructions are not clear. It sounds like everyone is installing the unit backwards….and so are the “professional” installers. Remove the five black phillips head screws that hold the unit to the roof and rotate it half a turn so the map lights are on the front seat side and the latch is also on the front seat side. Replace the screws and you are done…(it may take a helper to hold things so that you don’t pull the wires on accident). Now when the unit opens it can be…

    Not bad for the price… I installed this item in my Chevy Astro Van to replace a smaller unit that had died. I mounted it on a communications rack cover plate,made of aluminum with pop rivits. The plate was mounted to the two spar roof supports, one over the front seats, and the other over the second row seats. It sat nicely behind the overhead console for the driver.Only problem we can see is that the monitor is susceptible to hard road vibrations and shudders a little. this is due to the size and…

    Fixed “BACKWARDS ISSUE” *Does not have DVD player, but good so far I just installed so I’ll give a better review after using it. Like others, I thought this unit included a DVD player as other Pyle devices do, but I kept it anyway since the monitor is so big and it’s really a good price. I installed it in the roof of my Yukon using a small piece of plywood that I screwed into a metal cross member in between the headliner and roof and above the original dome light. I then screwed this unit into the plywood. I wired into my ignition fuse and it works…
