    Great amp, terrible terminals! Come on guys, Phillips head screws, square washers? It’s 2017, time for set screw terminals For the money this is a good deal. This amp comes within 75 watts of the 1500w@2ohm rating. I have it pushing 2 mtx 7512-22 (7500 series 12’s), in a slot ported box, tuned @43hz and it Beats, hard. Even though the subs could handle one of these amps each, it pushes plenty of power with zero heat or clipping issues. My only issue, and it is quite a big problem if you ask me, hence the 3 star rating instead of 5. Being that it is 2017 and the nail was upgraded a century ago when flat head screw…

    I accidentally blew out my Planet Audio AC1500 1M mono amp, it was my fault with wiring I don’t blame the amp or Planet Audio. BUT I’m glad I did though, the AC1500 was good, but currently I have to run High inputs into the amp from my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The head units on the Jeeps are notoriously anemic and because of that, even with turning the gain up you push nothing but dirt. I am driving a DVC 8″ Bazooka that I couldn’t get any thump, more or less any thunder out of it, every time…
