    Meets expectations Although it is advertised as a CB power cord, I use it for a more demanding application. I power a pure sine wave inverter with it. The continuous current draw ranges up to 12 amps continuous and, unlike cheaper plugs I have tried, it doesn’t get hot and the voltage drop at the inverter is only a few 10ths of a volt. The device has a substantial feel to it and is nicely manufactured from quality plastic, machined metal and the heavy gauge wire. This is the best quality 12V plug I have ever used…

    Nice heavy duty cigarette lighter plug. You’ll find that most ‘heavy duty’ plugs are using 16 or 18awg wire, and are rated for 10 amps. This plug uses 14AWG wire (a bigger size), and is rated for 15 amps. If you’re like me, the first thing you’ll do is cut off the proprietary connector, and then you have a nice cable ready to be connected to your equipment. Honestly, finding a plug which has 14AWG wire is difficult. This is a recommended plug for high power automotive applications.One thing to keep in mind is that…
