    Paid for itself the first time it was used. I don’t know what everyone else is doing wrong, but this wonderful little device has only been installed in my car for 2 months, and has saved me from a ticket on 3 different occasions. I’ll admit, it’s a bit over-sensitive at times, and there are certain areas where I just turn it off so that I don’t have to listen to constant beeping, but after a few trips, you learn where these areas are and it ceases to be an issue.Concerns about the range are also unfounded.     Cheap and semi-effective :::UPDATE:::I took this thing on a very long road trip like I had mentioned I would and I am going to sum up my results quickly as possible. This thing is nothing more than an expensive noise maker. Not only did it hardly work, but most of the time didn’t work at all. I could go on and on about my observations but seriously, get a better unit. When it does decide to work the max range is around 1/2-3/4 mile.
