Before … This makes installing a backup cam much easier.Before installation make not of the fact that the power cord has different adapters on each end. Match the correct one to your backup cam and then feed it to the front. I then cut off the from adapter and tied it into the reverse signal (I need to do this any way to auto switch to the backup cam on the Pioneer unit).In the past I had to tie into the reverse signal in both the back (to power the camera) and the front (to…

    Cable works great There really isn’t much to say. The cable works just fine for a backup camera installation on my truck. Given it’s a long bed, crew cab, dually truck I needed more AV/power cable than what came with the camera itself. This cable has worked out just fine.     it worked just fine. This cable was used as an interconnect between a rear-facing vehicle camera and a small video screen in a rental truck. The cable ran on the outside of the truck and was held in place with some command strip clips, and came through the seal on the passenger side door. The cable arrived damaged, and I didn’t have time to initiate a return or order another one. Part of the external jacket was sheared off, so I used some electrical tape to wrap it up for my travels.
